My nighttime skin care routine

Hi there! I wanted to come on here and post my night time skin care routine that goes with my last blog post on my morning routine.  I have been following this routine for about a few months now and my skin has changed for the better! I notice it being smoother, more even toned, less breakouts and also these products help me fight time (wrinkles)! For reference, my skin is considered pretty normal.   I get oily in the summer and drier in the winter.   I do get the occasional breakout (hormonal) and now that I’m in my mid 30’s I am getting fine lines on my forehead, eyes and around the mouth.   Please use my advice to your discretion, what may work for me may not work for you.   But here is what I use in the evening. From left to right: Facewash – Use any face wash you want but lately I’ve been using a gentle hydrating face wash since my skin has been drier than oilier.   This one has been great at making my skin feel clean without making it f

My morning skin care routine

Happy Friday! As promised here is a little insight into what I’ve been using on my skin lately.   I have been following a pretty strict routine of incorporating anti-aging products into my skin care routine and I have been getting some amazing results!   I will say, you need to take your own skin type into consideration and have patience! Your skin will not transform overnight.   It did take me about 2 weeks to see great results and I’m hooked!  I am the type of girl that NEVER washed her face at night, yup – I’d even fall asleep with a full face of make up on…gross I know! But now, no matter what I’m doing or no matter how late it is, I will make a point to wash my face and because I’m seeing results, I’m actually enjoying it :) For reference, my skin is considered pretty normal.   I get oily in the summer and drier in the winter.   I do get the occasional breakout (hormonal) and now that I’m in my mid 30’s I am getting fine lines on my forehead, eyes and around t

It Cosmetics: Bye Bye Under Eye Corrector

Hi everyone! Lately life has been so non-stop for me and I can't seem time find a minute to even sit and breathe!  Between 2 kids, a full time job and taking care of our house and day to day activities and chores, I feel like we are just cranking our days out without even sitting down to take a moment to ourselves! But we are loving the time with our kiddos and just can't believe where our days go.  The other day I was going through my husband's iPhone and looking at old pictures of our daughter (who is 3.5 yrs old now) and we just can't believe how much she has turned into a little lady now.  She is such the diva!!  Then we have our almost 3 month old son, who is just growing taller each week!  I told my husband we are just so blessed and life is so beautiful!! Anyways, enough of the sappiness, haha, on to my review!  Based on everything I've said above..even though life is great and precious..it has also been giving me some serious dark circles!! I never had

I was looking for a good highlight powder and came across these Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. **What are these powders? " A universal finishing powder that features state-of-the-art technology to recreate the most exquisitely flattering types of light.  " These powders come in 6 shades and are named after different light settings.  I chose Radiant light for my skintone.  You can use these powders on certain parts of your face just to highlight or you can use them all over as a setting powder to give you an all over glow.  These powders are light enough to use all over.  I actually like to use this all over as a setting powder and it gives my whole face a beam of light :)  Here are some pictures: Radiant light used all over my face Heavy swatch of Radiant light Blended swatch As you can see by the s

REVIEW: MAYBELLINE FITME FOUNDATION STICK & FLOWER BY DREW BARRYMORE FOUNDATION STICK

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! I hope you guys are all having a great weekend! I haven't done much all weekend, just getting ready for this baby! We have about 2-3 weeks to go and just finishing up last minute things before he makes his debut :) Today I wanted to take some time to review 2 new DRUGSTORE finds that I'm in love with!! As you guys saw in my previous video, I'm always loving to try new foundations and just getting that flawless face look :) The 2 products that I will be reviewing today are the Maybelline FITMe Shine-Free foundation stick and the Flower by Drew Barrymore foundation stick.  I LOVE foundation sticks, they are so easy to apply, are portable and travel friendly :)  Here are some pictures of both products: I am a shade 240/Golden Beige in the Maybelline FITMe foundation and SF5 in the Flower stick foundation.  **I am an NC42 in MAC for reference**  Both are a perfect match for me and apply effortlessly.  They are very smooth when
